Current EQ2 Station Player Website Issues (Post your issues here)

Below is a short list of issues that I have been able to find and verify with reproducible steps. This will be a post where you will be able to list any issues that you have come across and are able to reproduce. Please read any posts made before listing your issue to make sure that it has not already been listed, so we can avoid spamming of the same issue. I promise you that if it is posted here just once, that will be enough and just simply to have more than one person verify an issue it is not needed for this particular post. Any issues posted that have been fixed will be crossed out for tracking purposes. This post is not for opinions or socializing, if you wish to post anything other than current EQII Station Player issues, please make a new post to keep this one uncluttered and to the point. Since issues come and go, get fixed and reopened, this post will be in a constant state of change and updated on a regular basis.


Issues that are in my database that I have been able to verify:
- Personal status points on the character profile page are displaying guild status contributed points, instead of the characters current personal status points.
- If a player has a character transferred, that character will now show up multiple times on EQ2Players, a copy of the character for each server that it has been on.
- If a player has a character transferred that character will lose its previous items crafted ranking and be reset to 0
- If a player has deleted one of their characters, that character is not removed from the EQ2 Players website
- Discovered items are not being organized into their correct category
- Overall Achievement page will not display correct AA stats for some characters (Though no direct cause has been found, we do know it does involve the TSO expansion with the shadow tree)
- Achievements page will not display a the correct AA stats when that character has used the Mirror of Reflected Achievement
- Scout classes display incorrect general skills, such as magic affinity and mystical destruction (Fixed 07/10/09)
- The forum signature picture is only displaying the bottom half of the picture uploaded (Fixed 07/10/09)
- Overall updating issue with various characters, some characters will update daily and others will not update for weeks, in particular with the Splitpaw (Splitpaw issue has been fixed 06/05/09) and the Valor server.
- The “remember me on this computer” function does not in fact remember the account information of a player when used.

I'm logged into eq2players trying to view a profile alts page and I get a message that says "You must have a subscription to EverQuest II Station Players Advanced Character Profiles to access this page" but I have the complete station access package and my account is paid and in good standing.

Same problems as both the above posts; EQ2players not updated since 10 March (Splitpaw server), also hasn't registered that I re-subbed to EQ2players and asks me to upgrade.

A helpfull suggestion (coming from my own field of work)
add a template to report an issue. In this template add things like:

• date and time of issue
• OS (version), browser (version)
• server name
  
• severity (minor, major, critical)
• repeatable
• URL of the page
• screenshots
• issue description (steps to get the issue)

Keep up the good work! And all help out keeping this thread clean and tidy
I'll be checking and verifying myself too in the separate threads.

  • open Firefox
  • login as a valid user
    
  • go to Character sheet
  • click on tab Archievements
  • click on tab [Shadow Knight] (or your own subclass) or [Shadow] or [Text View]
• result: empty page with the following test:
  • $label.ErrorPage $label.UnexpectedError
  • login disabled, can't login anymore! I have to close Firefox and reopen to be able to sign in again
• I cannot reproduce it with IExplorer rendering engine in Firefox (User Agent Switcher https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59)

Additional info about:
"Achievements page will not display a the correct AA stats when that character has used the Mirror of Reflected Achievement".

The tabs Media and Admin aren't updated from player data so it is not valid IMHO.

Some inventory items are having a corrupted/incorrect image shown. Two cases that I know of:

isn't up to date either.

I'll keep this post to one issue, but I will be resurrecting my old bug list soon for the purposes of this thread. Since many of those issues have never been fixed, most of it is still valid.
However, for my one issue right now:
Equippable item stats are missing on all items in eq2players. This is a bug that appeared earlier this week and went away temporarily. However, it is back and is present regardless of being signed in or not. Verified with both IE and Firefox. The effects are still displayed, but not any stats/resists/bonuses beyond those which receive a seperate text at the bottom of the item description.

Still the same issue I posted about in February. My characters accomplishments are not posting to the leaderboards. My high hit from Nov. of 43,000 is still showing. Non of my hits since i got my mythical have posted to the boards. Many over 60k, and at least one at 71k that i know of. Why has this been so hard to fix? People have posted about this issue since Sept. of LAST year. Editing now since i looked it up on my gf's eq2players sub. The highest melee hit on Permafrost is 87,000 atm which has been the highest melee hit pre TSO and really Pre RoK. The 2nd highest melee hit on my server is 69,000. Of which i am sure many assassins have beat since the launch of tso with crit multipling aa, gear etc. I know my guildmates who play assassins have broken 70,000 on raids many times very easily. So this is not a singular case which cant be reproduced. It is a problem with all characters ww. Its borked, its broken, it doesnt work. How else can one person say it and how many times does it have to be said. I am not the only person posting this issue either. I reported it in game at the beginning of february, i was told it was being passed on to game developement because it was a known recreatable issue. I think you might want to confer with the rest of the development team on this, get it fixed and then i might consider paying for the service again. Until then i will continue to suggest to everyone else who is having this issue and who pay solely for the BoB boards to cancel their subscription until then.

Add me to the list of folks that haven't seen an update of my page OR my guild page for weeks now. I'm starting to wonder why I'm paying for this service when it's obviously not working well at all?!?

Unfortunately no new information at this time, but I will post as soon as I hear of a fix or an update.

Your highest melee hit issue is a bit more complicated because it seems to be a singular case. I have tested and checked for many characters that have had their highest melee hit update within days of each other. I am unable to reproduce your issue however you did mention it occurred since you got your mythical. So we may have something there, in that it may be a factor in the cause of your issue. I will continue to look into this issue and post when I figure it out or get any new information.

I double checked today and this issue has seem to have gone away, I cannot be sure if it was actually fixed or something that fixed itself, however I do know that we have been tweaking with equiped items. So I am leaning to it has been fixed and hopefully it will stay that way. Thank you for your information and time.
