This is my attempt to put in one place all of the Gear that the level 80 TSO Ranger can aspire to. It starts with the various TSO shard armor and jewelry sets and includes the RoK/VP Fabled Raid Armor and RE2 jewelry sets. It then lists the best pieces for each slot starting with the best “easy to obtain†piece (either via quest, or player made), then proceeding through the group instance zone drops and ending with the very best piece, usually a raid drop. For each piece I list the 4 most important “Ranger DPS†stats for reference purposes only. These may not be accurate as they were pulled from the EQ2players Item database (the values you see when you look up your character on this web site) on Feb 1, 2009. I also list how to get the piece: the Mob and Zone the piece drops in, the quest or player made. If I have missed any items please let me know and I will add them to the list. Remember that they must be better than the best easy to obtain piece as every level 80 ranger should have a piece at least that good. You may also wanna update the numbers on the fabled shard set so that they're... you know.... right You may wanna throw in crit mit for reference too... nice idea though...
I suggest going over your stats on some of your pieces. Several are incorrect. Example: Precision Flightrift Armguards has +7 RDA, +2 RC, +5 Crit Mit. I'm sure the other pieces are incorrect as well.

Lootdb is notorious for it's errors on items, especially when it comes to missing RCC and RDA values. Eq2flames is not a database site, and it's gear thread, while nice is very incomplete. Like I said, this was an attempt to put in one place all of the gear a level 80 ranger would be interested in, starting with the best easy to aquire piece, up through the "uber raid" pieces. And it will only be as accurate as the current official sony item database, not the values as they exist on the in game (test) server.
Correct that is the Ethernaught round shield of Knowledge. It was fixed during hotfix today, supposedly. I am not certain as I have not logged in yet.
