It's very time dependent though. Like right now it's pretty responsive and loads quickly. In about 4 or 5 hours and for several hours after, it will take one minute to load anything you click on. Is that due to heavy forum activity? Doesn't seem like it due to post volumes during that period of the evening. Could it just be excess traffic in and out of DPG's ISP? That seems more likely, especially if the forums are hosted in the same location as the game servers. It could also be something we can't see when looking only at EQ. Their other games, websites, and forums could be part of the usage scenario.
People’s mind set is EQ only. That’s why I am not a fan of proc Nerf request. That’s NOT going to bring short term relief to the lag problem.
Ironically, for me, it just started (forum lag) in the last week. I've never had any forum lag issues at all until then. Maybe I'm just lucky picking times to read the boards! Or, WAS lucky, til last week
