What if expansions with a level increase came out every 13 months and ones without a level increase came out every 11 months? Ever 2 years we would still get 2 expansions but more time would be available to Devs on level increase expansions? This assumes level increase expansions are more work? Are they? Any thoughts? BTW I am not trying to push this idea I am just curious.
Not sure we'd see much gain. Raids have already been pushed further out after release for this reason. You start bumping into in-game events like Anniversary, Spring, Summer, then next expansion already. Plus the work happening with UI, graphics, code cleanup, etc. They need more people. Scheduling changes just delay the inevitable.
I almost think it would be like "If I made 300 dollars a week I would live on 300 dollars a week, If I made 500 dollars a week I would live on that and be no further ahead.
