I usually try to have wind mod on a piece of gear after Pop, but a lot of people have argued that it is actually a dead stat outside of the check to see if it exists for the sake of playing invis. I'm building my gear list for discord. Does wind mod actually help for mez and charm? I am main puller, so mez in txevu is a big deal. If I can land it even 5% more it's worth it.
It also affects the Cure Counters on Aria of Innocence/Asceticism. I believe it also affects the faction granted by Cinda's Charismatic Carillion, but less sure about that one. I think there are a few other minor use cases, but yes, mostly you just want it to exist so you can Shauri's Sonorous Clouding.
Some of the mez songs have a MR debuff on them, which the focus should increase. Won't help the song land in the first place, but will make it easier to reapply before it wears off.
