I noticed I can't open the map editing toolbar. I can use the zone guide and everything else, but no map-editing? I don't see the logic.
I'm assuming it's because maps weren't even a part of EQ in classic... But we still have maps and don't have to skill up sense heading so no idea...
Because being able to edit maps is a "paid feature" of Legacy of Ykesha, and currently the way they are blocking content is by disabling expansions... Just try and go a create an Iksar or a Beastlord, it will tell you the reason you can't is that you don't own the expansion.
Maps were a part of Ykesha. No Ykesha, no maps. Also, the maps that everyone uses were all user created, not SOE generated for everything but the newbie areas. People were expected to make their own maps.
