What Luclin items will be commonly sold?

Get into Fungus Grove and camp that Remove Greater Curse from the mushroom! That's gonna be worth 30 krono a copy!

You probably need an instant cast burst like an SK to win the DPS race, though.

The shroom that drops Remove Curse is "The Great Saprophyte" in Echo Caverns, Remove Greater Curse is from LDoN missions(along with RC) later on i think, but also drops in Ssra Temple.

Praesertums cant banish pets. A mage army of 3 groups can handle him, usually only takes about 15-20 mins.
  4. Kahna Augur

They gave them MOTM, they won't even target the pet they will beeline for the mage.
  5. Gremin Augur

If you want Earring of the Solstice kits contact Clatta/Drelik. Selling them now.
  6. Selerra Journeyman

Awesome mid-range twink weapon would be the Polished Steel Ulaks from Dawnshroud. Good MNK/BST weapon from level 1.
  7. Baldur Augur

There are some 1-2 groupable raid mobs in Luclin. Some have tradeable loot that sells decently.

Gold Inlaid Ulak from The Va'Dynn comes to mind.

Horns of Frenzy from The Insanity Crawler as well.

You might also see loot right sells from those and raid mobs in Griegs End and other easier raid mobs in the expansion.
  8. Nolrog Augur

Some of the AC Inner stuff will probably be in demand.
  9. Xhartor Augur

RGC can drop off the three Rhag cycle raid mobs. Not being able to research this spell is going to make life "Fun" early in Luclin, after a month this will be a non-issue.

If your trying to save money, wait a week before buying the items for the Earring of the Solstice quest. On Agnarr the initial rush on those items had a huge market up, but they were so market flooded it came down quickly.
    Barton likes this.

    Early expansion:
GE drops for a good amount (like the first week). This drops off a cliff very fast.
Loot rights to shards (especially FG and ME if you can land some of those)
Loot rights to emp key components in SSRA.
(New) RGC spells, due to change in spell TS
Ferocity from The Deep (high level thought horror area). Holds value well.

    Early through Mid
Inner Acrylia Caverns loot drops (retain value pretty well through expansion)
Revamped Temple of CT drops and ring loots (retains value through PoP)
UP “raid” mob drops, bracers mostly
SSRA twink weapon drops from the Rhags.
    AR loot droppables

    Late
Tradeskills drops (Acrylia, flawless hides, other high trivial components such as arctic wyvern hides) as people begin to try to max tradeskills for Aid Grimel quest in PoP. Recommend hanging on to and buying these cheap and hoarding until PoP launch, prices spike.

    Misc.
If you have any of the high end Velious drops like BoC or HoRZ sell these ASAP. The prices will be highest early on, since upgrades for the droppable slots will start coming in and market gets saturated a bit as people offload these.
High demand drop spells like Torpor remain at a good selling price. Offload these before PoP.

Revamped temple of CT was changed to open at planes of power because Daybreak doesn't like us to have fun. Everything else seems like good advice though :)

Nah dude you're just trying to re-write history. Plenty of people were 2 boxing a small percent were 3 boxing and a handful of people were running around with 5 or more but they were slow and clunky and never bothered people because they were actually "true boxing" . Boxing 6+ didn't really become a thing until mid SoV on Phinny. When the Quarm server dropped a true box version of Voldemort light hit a certain website and people then started 6 boxing because it became easy.
  13. Machentoo Augur

I was boxing 6 on day one, as were at least a half dozen people I know.

Maybe it became more prevalent at SoV -- I don't know. Of the people I know who six box now, none of them are using m q. Same deal for the people I knew who six boxed during SoV. If there was a big explosion of users at that point, it wasn't in the circles I run in. And I was in two very different guilds over that period.
  14. Skeetari Lorekeeper

Well that is lame. Why content that becomes nearly useless is opened after it is desirable is beyond me. Anyway should still be worth something, though not sure if it’s worth the trouble at that point.
  15. Ryak Augur

Honestly, it might as well open with PoP because it didn't really fit into our raiding schedule so we only did it once to see the encounter, which was actually really neat.

It ended up mostly being used by the RMT crowd to sell millions of that ring from the escort event.

Although, it really does suck that you can't use it as an EXP zone because it was a fun EXP zone.
  16. Accipiter Old Timer

I think you are under the impression true boxing 5 or 6 is difficult. It isn't.
  17. Bewts Augur

Most of the velious droppables hold decent value through Luclin.

So will any SoD you were able to squirrel away

That high AC quest shield that doubles as a back item is a nice multi quest sale to non-raiders or alts.

Solstice earring items are excellent although only for market leaders.

Selling loot rights to Tailoring shears, Tinkering robe and bard clicky is also excellent given the fight is stupid easy (and technically chainable). There’s also the stupidly easy Ssra smithing hammer (visible if it will drop).

You’ll make a killing on high level TS mats given the prep that will go into PoP TS for the earring quest.

Your best bet though is probably selling LR to the rarer Cursed drops or even selling Emp’s drop for VT key. Not that either are hard - but people needing the drops are more likely to pay for them than wait for it to drop for the guild or for the guild to plow emp to get alts access to VT for more loot soaking.

There’s also a few mobs in VT that offer nice purchasable stuff raiders wouldn’t necessarily be jumping to loot. That plus the illusion clickies (human and I think a fire elemental one?)

Of course, almost everything listed will be loot rights driven ‍♂️

Nah i'm under the impression that i had like 100 days played time in Classic-SoV 2 boxing Chanter/Cleric and i spent a ton of it camping all the high profile camps. The only time i ran into a 6+ boxer trying to lock down content was first couple of weeks one dude was trying to lock down Seb King in 2-3 picks.
  19. Coirnav Augur

Relentless Insomnia will be selling all Raid loot from VT, SSRA Bosses, and Seru as soon as it starts rotting. This will take 3-4 weeks before we start to see the first items rot, with the better items like Cursed weapons becoming available the second half of the expansion. I expect items to be in the 4kr-20kr range depending on rarity and slot.

If this bothers you, please don't buy anything from us, but we know its a luxury people have, can, and will pay for so we will continue to do it =)

As with previous expansions, rotting Emp Rifts, Orb of Luclinite and other key based items will be made available to all players on coirnav for no cost once they start rotting.
  20. HoodenShuklak Augur

Well of course you would sell them... but the good stuff just isn't going to saturate a guild. But sure i bet your elite guild with unique strategies will be loaded by 4 weeks in.

Good luck to the person buying that human illusion for krono 4 weeks in!
