What is an acceptable que wait time?

New servers didn’t make people move who already started. The community acted exactly the same way they would here if you just launch more servers. And if you really don’t believe it go read thousands of posts on their forums of people having meltdowns for weeks. Long queues also came back after character transfers opened up from people leaving dead servers.

Blizzard is owned by Activision, a multi billion dollar company. Comparing the 2 companies and their launches is like comparing apples to skyscrapers

Besides, WoW Classic sucks horribly... Id rather wait in 5 hour queues every time for Everquest than play that garbage game

The devs aren't going to respond to a question like that. As pragmatic professionals who understand the complexities, they would probably say something like, "This is acceptable. It has to be acceptable because this is reality." But they can't say that because some of the more rage-y customers will grasp onto it and say, "Fire they Devs! They think everyone should have long waits! They're not even trying! They think this is good enough!"

Yeah...companies should really hire professional customer relations staff to handle stuff like this...

It isn't the devs...the devs are just the ones caught in the firing line between their own work and a company that is bare bones to eek out a tiny profit. Exactly why devs shouldn't be communicating on this stuff, but someone should be. DBG does have staff capable of doing this.

I wasn't the one who brought it up, because I agree with you that it is a ludicrous comparison. Someone else brought it up in defense of DBG --- which is equally stupid.

Still waiting to get in. Queue said 143 minutes but it will be 3 hours in five more minutes and still not in. I don't think 3 plus hours on day three of the new server is acceptable. Do you?
