I'm seeing what I believe to be an issue with a particular weapons ratio. There should be two ratios listed for weapons with A) elemental damage or B) bane damage, but I have a weapon which displays neither of those, yet displays 2 ratios. It is not augmented. In fact, I haven't even attuned it. Orrel's War-Staff The math works out such that the second ratio displays as if there's +1 elemental damage. Among the weapons I have available to me, I have not witnessed this issue. (Checking through guildhall etc for a good variety, including other weapons from the same zone/era.)
According to the item data, it has 1 point of elemental damage but no element type (e.g. fire, ice, magic, etc.). I assume that the item display window by default doesn't show elemental damage without a type, but the ratio calculation does apparently include it. The real question is: is it getting the 1 point of no-resist damage?
Other items like that (at least according to data ZAM has): Lost Fleshgrinder [41388], DMG = 1 Simple Hammer [48359], DMG = 1 Summoned: Manaforged Mindblade [64968], DMG = 10 Orrel's War-Staff [101052], DMG = 1 Greatmaul of the Prismatic Flight [102658], DMG = 1 Prismatic Greatspear of Bloodshed [102663], DMG = 1 Brax Nae Defender [109730], DMG = 1 Katar of Bound Elements [111527], DMG = 1 Numinous Nimble Symbol of the Skeptic [129692], DMG = 3 Numinous Penetrating Symbol of the Skeptic [129693], DMG = 1 Numinous Vicious Symbol of the Skeptic [129694], DMG = 5 Transcendent Nimble Symbol of the Skeptic [135496], DMG = 3 Transcendent Penetrating Symbol of the Skeptic [135497], DMG = 1 Transcendent Vicious Symbol of the Skeptic [135498], DMG = 5
Interesting. A quick test shows that, after accounting for damage bonus, the Simple Hammer (noted above by Nniki) has the same max hit as Forging Hammer. (Both have 4 base damage, Simple Hammer does indeed show a second ratio.)
