I am stuck deciding between 2 helms for BiS during Velious era and was looking for some input which to go with. The two helms are - Crown of Rile: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6061 And - White Dragon Helm https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6766 I know the Crown of Rile comes from Kunark, but since I am currently in that era I am trying to decide if the crown is good enough to drop a lot of DKP on or if the White Dragon Helm is better and will replace the Crown easily next expansion. I know Robe of the Azure Sky is a good investment since that is considered BiS for a few expansions. But wondering if I should bother with the Crown or if something like Yunnb Earring is something I should focus on getting over the Crown of Rile?
The only thing that I can see going for the Crown of Rile over the White Dragon Helm is the +20 Wisdom. That being said, I would take the White Dragon Helm due to the Dex which is pretty big for Rangers and with the +100 HP and +12 Stamina it is a pretty large HP jump over the other. Just my opinion . Obvious answer for Velious is anything with the Velious custom plate helm graphics: Helm of the Tracker, Custom Cowl of Mortality, Custom Crown of the Kromzek Kings, Custom Frostreaver's Velium Crown. My serious answer: Crown of Narandi for the +2 mana regen. Though I'm going tracker / custom because #FashionQuest
