What a crap shoot, it is a shame that they do not have it fixed too where you can at least make your character then wait. Very disappointing

I mean, queues are a problem in every single MMO in existence since the beginning of time when a new server launches.

Wish I knew that I was actually in the que and where I was in the que.

usually people stick to their servers... i thought as a returning player i would be on a pretty emtpy server, guess i was very wrong

No the launches are always super popular and then the population goes through a series of die off periods. It is definitely frustrating to have to wait for the queues but they don't last much past the first couple weeks, and sort of dwindle down over that time. Launch and (US) prime time are just the worst times to try and log in for the first bit.

well i guess as it is always this way then, they should just give the server 10 times the capacity for the start month

They'll add an overflow server before I get through this queue.

Sorry if I missed it. But was just wondering, if you are still in the queue if you hit the Ok button?

Just closes the pop up window. You stay in the queue.

If you click Play again it'll just pop back up with an updated wait time.

E: You do want to stay logged in, though, of course.

You're in the queue once you attempt to connect to the server. The dialogue box is just a heads up. Clicking Okay just closes it.

"back in the day" servers would max at about 4k simultaneous toons.
