So the true test begins. Who has the best strategy of clicking PLAY EVERQUEST on a locked server the longest? Who is the closest to the popping raid targets? Who has the fastest internet connection. Definitely not the casuals - Let true competition and strategy begin when the server goes up.
Totally makes sense if you've ever logged in right when Ragefire comes up from a crash. You log in and see "Naggy slain", "Vox slain", "Phinny slain" within minutes ... if one were prone to conspiracy theories, one might believe the server was brought down so the select few worthy of being ALLOWED to fight those targets might have got a courtesy crash so they'd have some repops to play with.
Bonus points to people who can spot the raid targets mentioned that don't respawn after a server crash.

So not only are they crashing the server on purpose, they are spawning the mobs, too! OH THE HUMANITY!

phinny and vox were both killed within minutes of the server coming up last night, thats 2 of the 3 he mentioned. shrug.
