As the title implies, I am wondering what everyones' opinions are regarding a Tranquil Staff? Is it better to go 2 1-handers with the weapons that are out now? Just use fists? Assume that you are making a twink and you have your option of anything
1 handers will be better for the first 20 or 30 levels because the tstaff will be hit hard by the damage cap. From level 30 until you get epic, tstaff is a pretty solid option, although something like adamantite club/stave of shielding will be comparable dps in most situations. Either combo will beat fists prior to epic, except maybe at level 60.
jade mace/anklesmasher to lvl 10. Then Adamantite club or SoS til 20. After that you can stick with that combo or grab a peacebringer for 500. peacebringer 28/30 - 500pp. tstaff 29/30 - 58,000pp - 1 more damage and won't proc for you while leveling. In a group you'll be pulling most of the time and these weapons are decimals apart on ratio.
The difference between tstaff and the peacebringer is less than 3.5% If you enjoy the min an max buy it, otherwise for 99.9% of all players it's useless. Save your $ and spend 500p
