Tranfering EQ to Older PC?

    I'm about to transfer the game to a muck older laptop for the weekend.
    Aside from moving the whole folder - is there any .ini file I should delete so the new PC can "find it's own settings"??

    EQhardware.ini if I remember correctly, but it shouldn't be there unless it's an old install that you've kept updated. EQ doesn't make the file any more, but will read it. Also, run the OptionsEditor.exe or click the gears on the near bottom left of the launcher to make sure it detects the correct video card.

    EDIT: Verified EQHardware.ini is the filename. And if you have trouble patching after copying, try deleting all of the EQ_Missing_Files.log.* files, then repatching with full file scan.
