I know when Eq came out and for awhile you couldn't raise more than one tradskill over 200. Is that how it is on tlp servers or no?
Correct. New Tanaan Crafting Mastery required: Training with the sages and merchants of New Tanaan gives adventurers the chance to hone their crafting skills. For each rank of this ability that you purchase, you are able to raise an additional trade skill past its Specialization level (200). (This ability applies to Baking, Blacksmithing, Brewing, Fletching, Jewelcraft, Pottery, and Tailoring.)
To be clear: Alchemy, Poison Making, and Tinkering do not count towards the limit of having a tradeskill over 200 skill. Rogue Gnomes ftw ?
Also, those skills are no longer level restricted. Once you can learn them (level 25, somewhere around there), you can take them up to max.
