Description: Tower Shield of Eternal Reverie, the Vector of Health proc from bash skill does not seem to be working. I've tried using bash skill by itself and also with bash on /autoskill with autoattack on and I can't get it to proc while the shield is equipped. I'm assuming its a straight heal to you and not a target of target by the way its written so it should be procing on a combat dummy yes?

Appears to be more than one type of shield. I am receiving no bash procs for the below shields against a combat dummy. I have only a haste buff up (Twitching Speed) and Defensive Proficiency. I have a non-damage weapon so that I am only bashing with auto skill. In chatting with a guildmate our bash procs appear to have stopped working around Feb 21st. From the patch notes then "Corrected an issue where secondary weapons could proc for characters without dual-wield skill." that might be related as logs are showing Vector of Health from warriors recently.

That's probably it, which means they need to change it from being what appears to be a weapon proc to a skill-based proc, like bash.

Combat dummies have no aggro/hate list, test it against a real mob.

A shield is not a weapon.

It is. Its bash skill on a shield (not a weapon).

I don't see a problem. Not sure how the heal is reported. The spell appears to be procing. It doesn't show up in GamParse and I don't see any actual heal amounts. But the message procs.

If we want to talk about bugs, how about that merc casting a heal over time on itself with full health and it never had aggro or took a hit at any point in the fight with no one else in the group zone.

Figured that might be an issue for the heal proc, but not the DD one. Had tested for an hour the previous evening on mobs at the inn for Vector and a DD shield with zero procs as well.

Are you hiding zero heals? Check spam window? Filter changes have moved stuff around. What text are you looking for?

Any chance these are all from a remote healing blessing aug like the Reactive Indehiscent Fruit? The proc has the same "You are bathed in a healing burst."

Checked all the healing, spell, spam windows and logs after. Nadda.

Mages don't have dual wield either. I took out my proc augs except for a shield with a DD proc aug, if all secondary were broken then I would be expecting to not see any procs from it:

What are you expecting Vector to report as based on warriors you mentioned above? Check what your options > chat filter settings are compared to theirs.

Yes, all of those heals I linked are in fact from my weapon aug and not my shield. I have zero messages with "vector of health".

Hmm I don't think casters can bash and I believe this is bash proc only related issue, but I don't tend to play casters so not sure if they have that skill. I am expecting to see something like this in my logs.

As I am seeing it for warriors and not for other paladins in my raid logs including myself I believe that should rule out filters. Looking at my filters everything is set to show except for bard songs on pets (hide), bard songs (mine), and heal over time (nonzero only).

Casters can not bash. We also only have 3, 5 and 7 in secondary with no procs on our shields. Unless there are some special exceptions, we generally do not have any secondary related procs that I am aware of, though my knowledge is a bit limited.

I ran through all of my logs going back to 2021. Here's a snippet from the last few months showing how many Vector of Health procs I had each day. Note that I have been using the same shield for this entire time (Spectral Luclinite Tower Shield). It's almost like there was a patch that did something between Feb 20 and Feb 24...

For technical details, I pulled every line similar to the one below and then counted the number that occurred on each date.

I also ran this for every tank in my raid and the only ones that have procced Vector of Health since Feb 20 are Warriors, with the rest of the knights looking basically identical to my own logs.

Thanks for this. Maybe they can, you know, fix this now. But considering it affects knights only really, expect it to languish for years.

Don't forget to add the Soul of the Grandmaster Shield Augmentation as well since that has the Vampiric VII proc.
