From the latest patch message:

"Added a chat filter for Food and Drink messages."

It isn't the biggest thing to happen in the history of EQ, but it has been a hope of mine and helps with a nagging pet peeve.

I hope it also applies for the messages we see from other players who don't understand that drinking alcohol 150 times in a row does not raise your skill as fast as just drinking a few until your screen shifts.

I think that's more of just being lazy and finding it easier to "drink" all the crap that jester summons rather than picking up stack after stack and destroying them.

Even faster to just go to the arena while naked and die to reset things.

Would be great if i can hide but it only lets me change the colors?

I sent it to my Coventry window (Heinlein reference there) and made that window very small. Out of sight, out of mind.

nvm figured it out lol ill just throw the food spam to my combat window haha.

I always just chug until full whenever I know I need to AFK.

Does this filter not work for others drinking? Dang I thought that what it was going to be.
