My laptop reacts to win10 patches that way. Every time it patches, I have to roll back since the task bar and windows explorer will chain reload indefinitely. It's not a joke upgrading old hardware to new windows. At one point I managed a lab with a bunch of oscilloscopes and other measurement equipment which ran windows 2000/xp. Once IT mandated we move to win 7, a bunch of stuff had to be downed and sent back to the suppliers for HW refreshes.
