I hadnt seen the kaleidoscope glitch in a while so I thought it was fixed, but I just logged in to test to check some stuff and gating to lobby brought it back. edit: TBF, I had both live client and test up at the same time. IDK if that can have an effect. edit: oops that should have gone in the bug thread.
