Stat item for ammo slot?

Is there such a thing?
I've tried the usual resources and they show things such as various crafted crossbow/axe, but these don't actually affect stats when in the ammo slot
Is there anything that does?
Or that is otherwise useful at 120?

nothing useful that gives stats, ammo slot is for statless ammo pretty much, even the statted items do not work in the slot iirc.

i used to store my mount in ammo slot, but they came out with the keyring for that, so on most of my toons the ammo slot is empty.

Im still wearing my tears of Alaris(mine will probably never be maxed). Haven't found anything better for that slot...

Per Fanra: Stats aren't affected from the ammo slot, but skill modifiers work.

So its handy to put your tradeskill trophy or other trophy/item modifiers in it so you don't have to switch out your weapon in primary.
If your a ranger you likely have your main arrow there, like ancient arrow

TBH my alts just carry a tradeskill trophy there since nothing really counts in that slot. (exception being the ranger arrow)

Yes, but you won't get xp from killing them. You have to farm the tablets. There are also 5 missions you can run to get tablets as part of the reward that are repeatable.

just box a couple mages and set em at entrance to tunnel and one at the task giver and run and kill. Easy peasy. If someone is in there killing your mobs ask to group up with them. It goes faster for you both that way. I always offered to COTH his toon back and forth too just to grease the skids.

Do they still drop the tablets if they're not LB? Hasn't been happening for me (I did give up pretty quickly as seemed like a waste of time and I read that unless they were LB, they didn't drop them)

Just do the missions that give a tablet as the rewards everytime Far easier then grinding out mobs for the drop.

This one is very easy - I used to go there at the end of the day and run thru it then camp there so the next morning I could just run thru it again. The go do what I needed to and come back, run thru it, camp - rinse repeat. Get some AA in addition to the tablet

Nope. If they are not LB or higher, then there is no reason to kill them.

One of the few examples of "trivial loot code".

Did Tear of Alaris the hard way (which was speeded up by the time TLP got to do it vs Live but was still a sick grind even then) & the quest makes it FAR faster than mob-grinding, a most welcome change indeed.
