I'm working on something and ran into a few questions of 'when does this thing become available?' These entries are not currently on allakhazam's progression servers wiki page. 1. DoN is the start of the random world-drop hides, silks, metals, and alchemy reagents, correct? 2. Does anyone have a list of 'when this expac opens, this range of defiant gear is available?' 3. Does anyone know or have a list when older 'hotzone NPCs' like the Water Elemental Officer in Splitpaw become available? If I recall that series of hotzones added mobs in Skyfire, The Hole, and Sebilis as well.

Defiant started dropping during Secrets of Faydwer, it was not a feature of the expansion, they introduced it mid term.

While I'm happy to take that suggestion, the problem is that a lot of the stuff I'm asking about were added later than when they're technically available on TLPs, hence the questions directed at the Devs or Fippy/Vulak players that might remember. I recall Defiant being available up to a point on Fippy, I think during PoR, and when further expansions opened, the next steps in Defiant popped up. I simply can't remember when they were that Elaborate and Elegant were added. Similarly, splitpaw is revamped now into the elemental form but the hotzone NPCs are not present (nor should they be). I'm simply wondering when they ARE available.

Does anybody else find it hilarious that the expansion that introduced Mercenaries was called Seeds of Destruction? LOL!
I don't have access to the logs to answer the other two right at the moment. But iirc, SoF brought all but the elegant defiant, and elegant released with SoD. Global tradeskill drops were originally TSS but I don't recall when they were available on previous TLP's offhand.
Hi I'm a Vulak player, I enjoy logging on to Vulak and running around on my bard Damax throughout the entirety of the game enjoying the silence of having the entire server to myself, as I've never seen a single other person online in over a year!
I'm not sure if this is what you are asking but some of this is in the game now. Research uses the new system with hides dropping in every zone. Alchemy is a mixed bag because while we are on the new alchemy system, some of the components don't drop. Black henbane, for example, drops in SolB and is used for the level 40 distillates. Autumn crocus, on the other hand, is used in the level 50 distillates and doesn't drop until Luclin (near as I can tell).
