I've done Mission 1 in RoF -Rebirth well over 50 times. No aug yet. i r sad =( This mission is the only place the aug Crushed Hope drops apparently and is among about 20 other possible loots that can drop. So lame. Hate that you just have to have dumb luck to get stuff, though I think I have just had dumb bad luck in this case. Whine, complain, rant....
I assume you're killing the two optional bosses, as its most likely they drop one of them. Like the Limestone Oddity from Chelsith 1, it has a chance to drop from the Vanishing Serpent only.
Gotta love that fickle RNG. Having run that mission perhaps 30 times, I have seen about a dozen of those augs. Looted the first three, rotted the rest! I haven't seen the Harbinger's Signet ring a single time yet. Not a one.
