I recently inherited a lvl 115 SK from a dear close friend who has no desire to play anymore. I spent most of my time in EQ playing a Cleric, also 115. I know absolutely Nothing about the mechanics / load outs / Macros etc ... I really want to learn how to play this beast, I know that when my dps melee merc steals agro from the lords of agro Sk, that im doing something terribly wrong. Can someone do a write up for me in the simplest easiest way to get me started on the correct 13 spells needed for Tanking and DPS in my 2 box group. An effective AA Macro write up on how to hold & keep agro / heal self / FD pull set up etc... I know im asking alot and as I read previous post through the years most are old posts. The SK is 115 with Every AA known to man. Current T3 armor has all epics. Using a J5 dps melee Merc the cleric is 115 using a dps melee merc that steals agro like a boss !
you don't need to particularly be doing anything wrong for melee dps merc to take agro. they're menaces in that fashion. good news(?) is that the subtlety merc AA really does work
