Hey guys, I'm coming back to eq from a break but I don't want to activate all my accounts right away. I'm wondering if anyone knows the difference between a silver account bard vs full account when it comes to the none damage songs. Like aria, war march etc. Will I see a massive decrease in adps? (my team is warrior/zerker/shaman/bard) Cheers
I box manually so I'm lazy with my bard, I pull, cc, and mainly just melody adps and healing boosts throwing in a nuke in between now and then for synergy.
iirc you are limited to rank 2 level songs, otherwise the big difference is the armor, you can't use prestige level gear, so you won't live long in AE situations. and you may not get the benefit of the instrument modifiers, but I've never played silver, so I'm just not positive on that score.
Anymore, t1 gear is usually crafted and non prestige and holds up just fine such as conflagrant and i believe even the snowbound stuff isn't prestige so it should be good too
T1 CoV gear is also non-prestige. It just misses Luck stat. For a bard it's not that significant - do the adps, DoT the mobs and enjoy being a real Jaskier. Edit: and most modern augments (if not all) are also Prestige.
Cheers, I know il have to Farm him a new set of armor as his current stuff won't have the stats and they have the augs on. I'm pretty surehe only has rank2 songs anyways so that's good news. I just wasn't sure if the focus on the gear from group end tier to t1 stuff matters a whole bunch for bard songs.

Only Rk3 songs require raid focii to truly get boosted beyond group songs.
