Safe graphic settings for a real dummy?

Good day! As the title here implies, I'm not tech savvy in the least bit. I'm sure that graphic settings can vary on quite a few things, including the time of day or day of the week, but I'm hoping that anyone here might answer a (hopefully) simple question:

If my computer meets all of the requirements here (and is above the recommendations), would it be safe at all to run the graphics on the lowest settings? If that wouldn't be safe at all, can anyone, perhaps, point me in the direction of an official post that might show that the actual minimal graphic settings are that would be allowed to play here? I'm mostly curious if I'd be missing out on critical things, such as moving auras and such, if I dumbed my settings down. I don't mind missing out on "pretty" things, but I'm not wanting to miss out on things that would be critical for game play.

Edit: Disregard. I just realized that my video card no longer meets the requirements here. So, no, things aren't likely to be safe, outside of an upgrade there.

For Missions and Raids, you need to be able to see auras.

Just to note, with the upgrade to DirectX 11 (DX11), some people with even the latest video cards are experiencing trouble.

I'm not even using a video card (integrated graphics with CPU AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics from 2018) and ever since I changed some settings and removed my eqclient.ini file, it's been fine.

A number of other people with far more recent and advanced (expensive) processors and GPUs (video cards) have complained about excessive lagging on our raids while I've been mostly fine.

So, throwing hardware at EQ is not a solution for everyone. Unfortunately, the DX11 changes make it a crapshoot whether your game will work well. There are also other factors involved, what background apps you run, etc.
