I don't know many other rogues. Personally, I always stayed clear of shields because I like MAX DPS, as I should right? But, last night I was having difficulties with Yellow Con MOBs in TBL. Just for S#$% and Grins, I donned a shield. WOW; what a difference in survivability!! Thoughts?
Yeah I agree makes a big difference for us when getting hit. I just can't do it though. Kinda wish they had an AA for us non-tanks to make offhand weapon AC into "shield" ac considering how HUGE the tanking differences are between us and the DPS gap has shrunk.
Shields server one purpose for a non tank and that is for pulling, as the extra defense insures you make it back to the group before a mob murders your squishy face.
