Recently returned and I have 21/23 expansions. Where should I be working on gear now? I really don't want to buy 4 expansions yet for all my accounts until I see how things are. Currently, all characters are lvl 95 full access.
At level 95 I would worry mostly about leveling up to 100 . If you are running into issues because of gear (I don't know how old your gear is) then drop down to Rain of Fear and pick up Fear touched gear. If you are four boxing I don't think you should have much trouble named camping in East Wastes, or moving up to Kael Drakkel for more named. Possible other choice to go for gear would be the Crystal Caverns, but not sure how confident you are moving four characters through that zone.
I would concur with Gundolin that levels > gear. You’ll attain gear, lots of it, while you progress through the content and subsequently level. Have you worked on Rain of Fear - Shard’s Landing much? That is a great place to level up and attain gear. I would also say grab any open Dead Hills (Gribble’s) groups as much as possible. Dead Hills is part of Call of the Forsaken expac and does require portal attuning (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=7244). Gribble’s missions in particular are boring and repetitive, but using your Lesson Vet AA or even an exp pot on one is a great way to quickly rack up that exp. In the past I’ve used bonus exp weekends to hammer out Gribs after Gribs when leveling toons. (Protip: Bonus exp events often coincide with holiday weekends.) It was boring but well worth the rewards in fast exp to get over that hump. It fits in the Charm slot, has 42 AC, and has heroic Dex, Wis, and Int on top of its other boosts. And did anyone mention it fits in the charm slot?
