Returning after 5 years with my lvl 75 Warrior - Help please :-)

The top groupable warrior weapon atm is Iron Bloodsaber(looks sweet). Technically Triple-Pointed Bloodmetal Stiletto is non-raid, but acquiring one isn't a thing for a group tank to tackle with a group. State of the art raid warriors equip Cutlass of the Emboldened.

Tanks wear shields when they're tanking. Shield of Bayle is the one that matches Iron Bloodsaber at the top of the groupable heap.

The Heroic upgrade for easy access to AC augments makes sense mostly if your subscription will be intermittent. If you can stay subscribed, there's better augs out there for you. Other than taking less effort to get, the benefit to Heroic augs isn't their high quality, since they're just baseline things not great, it's that they don't require sub status to equip. Being a subscriber lets you turn time and effort camping/farming/questing into 200+ AC just on augs, and a couple thousand hp, plus various stats, over the Heroic set.

14.99/mo month-to-month subscription down to 9.99/mo if you pay ahead.

Brohg is right on the heroic augments, I should have said that it's an easy way to get a base set of augments, but you will want to upgrade them when you lvl up. But that kindda goes for everything you can get at lvl 85. ;)
Speaking about upgrading, the Mark of Valor merchants from the CotF expansion provide complete sets of gear from lvl 85 to 100. It's not the most interesting way to level up (repeatative), but it sure is the most efficient (short of having a powerleveling sugar daddy that is). Heroic Adventures are also very good exp, so it's two birds with one stone.

Think Eli posted you don't lose all access to an aa line if you delevel anymore, just highest you bought that you don't meet reqs for. So still get benefit of prior level of that line.
