[REQUEST] Heritage Crate Teleport Item cooldown timer adjustment

The heritage crate teleport items have cooldown timers of something like 18 hours (can't recall exactly what they are but it's a long time).

I definitely understand the thinking and reasons for the cooldown timers but would it be possible to consider adjusting these down to around 2-4 hours? These things have a bit of difficulty and expense to acquire vs the timeframe of being able to use these items.

    Thank you in advance!

It's been asked many times, it's not been responded to. Placing in housing has no cooldown.

Cool down timers exist because TLP players can redeem the crates too.

They don’t want TLP players getting some P2W advantage - hopping between continents.

They’ve previously said it is onerous to push separate code between TLP and Live. I believe this is especially true of itemization.

Otherwise, it would be nice to see a lowering of the crate teleport cool downs.

Bingo, it comes down to game balancing and item limitations. In the pre-Luclin era teleporting is designed to be a forte/key feature of Druids & Wizards and travel is supposed to be somewhat tedious. Letting other people use clickies (especially to popular areas like High Pass) and then clicky back to another town, more than just daily becomes really broken.

Although, maybe a nice workaround would be to create an NPC on Live servers that would let you trade the clicky for a special "Live" version of the clicky with a shorter refresh. Perhaps the NPC could also let you trade excess Krono for a random retired clickies or heritage crates. It'd give Lifetime members something to do with spare Krono.

I think the correct solution here would be to just have a cast timer that depends on the number of expansions that are unlocked (in the same way that your max AA bank depends on your max level).

There are a lot of ways you could define that relation, most of them should be pretty easy to implement.

This way they're nice-to-have on TLPs, and continue to be nice-to-have on live servers.
