EQ2 graphics were always amazing, even in 2004 (ish?) when I played in its beta. Kinda made you go get a new computer because water reflection hammered the system you played EQ1 on. It was the EQ2 gameplay that wasn't very fun and felt very taxing to repeat over and over again, which is why ultimately WoW won out with its inferior recycled WarCraft 3 graphics.
EQ2 Standard expansion grants a once per account level 120 Heroic Character for those interested in playing.
Also a 10%, 'native', account-wide experience bonus for every character you have at max level (up to a maximum of 110%, I believe) that stacks with everything.
