I really like the layout, my only wish is that item links showed on mouse over, but I have no idea if that is hard to do, or what. I bookmarked it, and i'll be using it.
I honestly don't know anything about how that works. But I'll bring it up to him. You can view his other expansion guides here ( http://www.raspersrealm.com/Everquest/ ). A lot of them are later expansions until VoA but he is considering GoD and OoW for us Selo folks. The more support the more likely we can convince him.
Wow.. talk about a throwback. I missed seeing Rasper around on The Rathe//Prexus//TT and his guides definitely helped me so much during my time on Live. Excited to see him do this for Selos!
Updated the summary pages today. I *should* have the Elemental Planes events/rares/loot and Plane of Time loot all done before the first. But quest details (progression, alt-access (is that in at launch?), gate necklace, manuals, etc) will come later. But hey, not too shabby for about 15 days Oh, while I would love to add the item stats on mouse over, it isn't something I can do without either a 3rd party hook (like being able to snag the image on the fly from magelo/lucy) or building and maintaining a database of all EQ items.
Welcome back! To get mouseover links on any site put this anywhere within the body of the html. Code: <script src="//zam.zamimg.com/j/tooltips.js"></script> And then just post the link or have the link text point to the actual item url.
That is really cool. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with Lucy links, only direct Allakhzam, and Alla has their own item numbering system instead of using the in game Item ID. For example, Wristband of the Rathe has an item ID of 11054. So the lucy link is "http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html?id=11054" and the magelo link is "https://eq.magelo.com/item/11054" (same number). But the Alla link is "http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=20417" As such the only way to use it would be to go back and hand edit hundreds upon hundreds of links
It works with lucy links. All you'll need to do is do a search and replace on all html files and search for http://lucy.allakhazam.com/item.html and replace with http://lucy.allakhazam.com/itemraw.html http://lucy.allakhazam.com/itemraw.html?id=11054
Didn't get as much done as I wanted before the expansion came out, but Tiers 1-3 are done, PoEarth is done, Summary pages for Tiers 1-3 are up, a page with links to all Ornate and Elemental armor results is in place, and a short bit about spells (including combines for the Imbue spells) is there. All the item links give a popup window of the stats now as well making it a bit easier to scan over the drops. I'll get Air Water and Fire done as soon as I can, and a summary for PoTime drops (probably won't bother with description of Time events). I still want to hammer out progression and other quests into their own pages, but "real life" takes a bit of time too.
A bit more done. Plane of Water events and rares are up, loot added to summary. A quick and dirty 'raid flowchart' for progression (again, Alla's writeup is very well done). I added walkthroughs for the Alternate Access quests for Crypt of Decay, Plane of Torment, Halls of Honor, and Plane of Tactics. Elemental Planes are done. Still need to do the PoTime loot summary page but all other zone stuff is up. If I can get that done tomorrow, two days for a progression quest write up, a bit of polish... looks like I'll have the entire expansion guide done from start to finish in about a month. It is quite possible I have missed things, a rare mob here, a zone drop there... If you find anything missing let me know! I'd forgotten how much fun it was making these guides. Looking forward to doing one for Gates.

After dealing with some real life crud I'll probably jump into a Gates of Discord site "soon". In other news, happy Unofficial Everquest Tradeskill Day! On this day 17 years ago, May 8th 2002, a patch introduced the Blue Diamond Cultural Armor. This stuff was amazing back in the day, comparable to Hall of Testing gear from Velious but available to all, released mid-Luclin. I outfit dozens of High Elf Paladins and Clerics, running around in their deep green Blessed Full Mithril (and made a fortune doing so).
