Since a couple weeks I have started experiencing regular EQ crashes that render my PC in a state which only a hard reset can mend. Afterwards, I am not able to log into the game. Loading takes ~15 minutes until one of the following error messages appears. Funny enough - Launcher didnt recognize the file as faulty during gamefile validation. Manually deleting the file and regetting it only works sporadically, reinstalling DX9 didnt help either. Any suggestions?
If this is what actually happens every time then it is either faulty/failing component or severe driver issue and/or a program being ran in the background, either new or one that had recently been updated. Play EQ in windowed mode if you are not doing so already. Bring up Task Manager to observe CPU/harddrive usage. What are the system setup? Include OS, etc.
