Question on aug for Zueria Slide...

Hey guys, new to the type 5 augs, and I have a question.

The Zueria Slide ID window shows it will host a type 5 (weapons - elemental damage) aug. But weapon augs in TBM are type 6, and only go in primary and secondary slots. The armor augs are type 5, and do list charm slot. So, do I just ignore the "Weapon - elemental damage" tag on the item, and get an armor aug?

Type 5 augments are for stats like int, wis, dex, agi etc.... That is what you should, and all that you can, put in that augment spot.

Type 5 (Weapon: Elem Damage) used to be augs that only fit into Lost Dungeons of Norrath (LDoN) weapons. With the release of The Broken Mirror, newer Type 5 (General: Multiple Stat) were created.

I would guess the Slot 2, Type 5 (Weapon: Elem Damage) text on the Zueria Slide is an error. It should say Slot 2, Type 5 (General: Multiple Stat). Let us know if the (General: Multiple Stat) augs do not fit in it.

Thanks, both of you. I figured it out. I was out of game and looking at the info on ZAM and Lucy. They have pics which must have been taken right after the item came out. In game, it showed type 5, multiple stat. So they evidently updated the in-game label at some point.

clicking the item will loose any augs.

That's fine, I'm a druid, I'll never use it to port. But thanks for the heads-up!

You will not lose any augs clicking the convert button (nor the item for the click effect for that matter). The convert button will do nothing while there are augs in the item.
