Hey all, I haven't played this game since the SOE days and was wondering whether the policy towards playing multiple toons at once had changed. Specifically: 1. If I am playing on a server other than Agnarr, is it acceptable to play 2 EQ instances if both are on separate computers and no software is being used to clone keystrokes (one hand per keyboard, one key stroke per action)? 2. What about on Agnarr? The FAQ specifically mentions action will be taken against your account if you run two accounts on the same computer or use keycloning software...but it doesn't actually say what happens if you DON'T do that. In general, is "one account per machine" and "no software used to automate" ok with Daybreak?
1. Yes 2. True box server says it all. you can play 'x' accounts at same time as long as they are on separate systems. However, you might run into kick issues that others had but it is permitted.
The prevailing belief on Live servers seems to be that you can box as many as you want on one computer (officially) and the use of third party software is allowed (unofficially).
