Here it is 2016 and you take down live for its patch and yet us who perm play on test are now locked out from logging in also for next 6 hours. Why is it this has not been put on its own login server yet? You managed to do so with all other daybreak online games but did not do it to everquest and test it self nor beta. How can folks test on test and or beta if you lock them out for 6 hours? Times have changed its 2016 time to update i would think?
you used to be able to log into TEST while liver servers where down. not sure when it changed but only in the past year at most. however as long as your keeping your test folder updated you can still use the patchme login. create a shortcut to eqgame goto properties of shortcut and enter patchme at end in target window
You are correct you may play test while live is down.I know that trick but you would think after so many years they would have it set this way or at least post the trick for others to see. Ive known of it for years just gets old explaining it to new people who dont know it when they could just put beta and test on its own login server.
