    Edit: just saw the numbers, 15-25% isnt that big of a deal I guess.. However traks AoE doing 25% more is still really going to hurt.

    One thing worth mentioning with this is.... Mobs are casting out of era nukes... King in chardok for example casts strike of solusek, which hits for 2750.... That isnt a minor amount, 25% more pushes it well over 3k... That will gib any tank that isnt at about 70%ish.

    The game being imperfect has zero relevance to your awful ideas. If the game was perfect(which it isn't), your ideas would still be awful.

    Also, while I have never gotten gladiator, I've played multiple classes consistently at 2200+ rating in 3s for many years.

    King isn't MoTM so he won't be affected. He also already casts shock of magic it can hit for 3k.

    They aren't killing very much in open world and raid with low numbers in instances

    We anit killing with over 72 let alone 100 and generally we raid below 50 in open world and split raid with lower numbers then the rest of the server on anything that drops worthwhile loot.

    S3 Glad Resto/Rogue 2s. Glad WDP
    S4 bored quit

    Not even the only one in the guild that has a Glad title

    I'm curious, who wants these bosses buffed? Is the majority of the population enjoying this and thinking it's a good idea, or are they merely tolerating it?

    What I like about Phinny is my fate isn't determined by voting and I can play with whoever I want when I want. What I don't like about Phinny is I cannot box and the bosses are "difficult". It sucks that my pet does less damage the more magicians there are, that I am nuking for 1900 in Sebilis doing exp groups but only 900 on bosses (my pet goes from 81 to the 20s). It sucks that my pet forces a ton of threat on to me.

    I don't like the actual raiding encounters pretty much at all; and all that has me holding on is that eventually it will normalize. Everyone expected that to happen in Velious; but then they buffed the velious bosses. Certainly they won't buff Luclin bosses that already have a ton of HP and AC right? Nope... they're buffed.

    If I remember correctly, the community asked for bosses to be made more challenging during the first few months of RF/LJ. The pet mitigation and pet threat are direct results of the mega boxers pet walling down bosses at the beginning of the server, i'm sure you remember.

    In my opinion the Motm buff is very suiting for RF/LJ but is not really well made for Phinnigel. There is no mega boxer or mage army on the server so there is little to no reason for the additional pet mitigation. Having the bosses deal additional damage via their mechanic (AEs) at the expense of some mitigation is a step in the right direction. It rewards skilled play whereas massive mitigation just requires more people. My 2 cents.

    With no buffs or MOTM, everything in Velious would die on the first day to like 12 guilds on Phinny.

    It would be horrifically boring if everything could be walked over that way. I'm hoping AOW/some of the NTOV dragons are smashy enough that it takes guilds at least a week or two to get them all down. It doesn't need to be absurd like the regeneration situation on RF, but it should be difficult.

    I'm glad they're buffing/MOTMing stuff, and I hope they continue to do so in PoP truthfully =p I heard guilds were in the Elemental plains within 24 hours on Fippy. I feel that would be a shame if that were to still happen on Phinny.

    Overall I enjoy and appreciate the MotM buff. If nothing else, it at least attempts to budge a 15+ year old meta, which is a good thing.

    The aspects I don't like are the "anti-fun" elements, such as Mark of the Old Ways (especially on a true box server) or the massive damage mitigation.

    However, as long as the devs are willing to pay attention and monitor carefully how things pan out, my concerns are reduced.

    During beta and the early weeks of the new progression servers, the team discussed the possibility of disabling all focus effects until they were introduced and reverting to an era appropriate spells file. Would that be preferable over harder bosses? Not for the current progression servers, obviously, but for a future set?

    I don't think that would solve the issue of "box armies" So you'd still need something extra.

    I know the melee in my guild would like to see full damage from their weapons. Can you tweak MotM so that melee in BiS weapons hit them for full damage?
