Please fix aura damage

    Often when you get hit by an aura that does damage, you get double ticks worth of damage.

    Also aura's damage every second, making them rather brutal vs. say DOTs. Having some time to respond would be nice.

    Here is a list of double hits (note the time, same second):

    I hate to be that guy, but the roughest auras (like, let's say Drusella's Vault) are not intended to be survivable if you enter them... I don't know about the double hits specifically but I'm fairly certain the damage hitting repeatedly per tick is an intentional design choice.

    Auras are considered environmental damage, like lava, and so apply their damage once per second. There is currently a bug in game where the final source of damage that kills a player or mob is double-deported. The aura damage report that is killing you is double-reporting, not double-applying.

    Drusella's aura effects trigger on entry and when the aura pulses (1/second). Other auras may work similarly, though I can't say for sure without more information.
    This is intentional and expected that it can fire twice in quick succession when you enter the aura.
