Cast on you: Your skin takes on a scaly, green appearance.
Cast on other: Soandso 's skin takes on a scaly, green appearance.
Effect Fades: The scales fade away.
    Game Description
Causes your target's skin to take on a reptilian appearance. When the target is struck by melee combat the skin will often attempt to heal its wounds. This effect will fade after 72 strikes.
    My question is
Is this spell worthy of using a spell slot for a raiding druid?

I don't believe I have used any spell in the Reptile line since the Great Nerf Into Uselessness which occurred about a decade ago.

    People overlook the intermediate effect:
    1: Decrease ATK by 43
    2: Decrease AC by 20

As long as there are buff spots open on the tanks, or debuff slots on the mobs, why not cast something that weakens the hard hitting mobs. You only need one druid to cast this and keep up on the main, or in the case of mass-spawns, the off-tanks. Unlike HP-growth, there is no extended cooldown timer on this.

It's a good thing to cast before an event begins. As a tank, I never expect to be rebuffed with this mid-event.
