Gaining the set of elite agents are part of the Overseer achievements. Open up EQ->Character->Achievements->Overseer->Faydwer Agents and browse the various Elite agent achievements. It will show which ones you have and which ones you are missing. You can also see the reward you can get for completing the set of elite agents.

Then I am wagering you didn't have that many items in your TS Depot. Also there are numerous people who have complained about zoning taking up to a minute or more this year.

Do you have come for an argument ? No, you haven't. ;)

With great features come longer zone times .... seems like there was a movie that said something similar once.

The times are over where it was worth to buy a new computer every 2-3 years or buying upgrade components once a year. Twenty years ago a single DRAM bar (32 or 64 MB) was able to boost the system performance from SoW to Selo speed. It was that significant that after buying and mounting one piece I drove back to the store just one hour later to buy another one.

Using a computer for 10 years is absolutely ok today and that could go up to 15-20 years until core components like the mainboard or CPU do get damaged. Often the electrolytic capacitors do limit the lifetime of hardware components at most. With ten minutes for three accounts you desktop computer is good enough for EQ. You should just replace that laptop and don't use laptops at all. Their only right to exist is transportability.

Either that or choice of raid currency or currency of some type so it gives us a reason to actually reduce the numbers as once maxed there is nothing to do...

20 seconds is a long zoning time? I think that shows its not the crowded zones, weak hardware, memory or graphic settings.

We should just go with what niente said above and quit claiming its the player or computer's fault every time.

Wasnt arguing. Was responding to your complaint:

""Because the overseer concept and it's code are misbegotten and nobody does fix the well known issues since years. A big revamp is needed for all aspects including the code, complexity, logical structure and the UI."

Talk about exaggeration. misbegotten code thats only 3yrs old? well known issues since years? Big revamp on a 3yrold feature that doesnt impact the actual game when there are much bigger much older and far more impactful issues to address IN the game first. A tiny lagspike loading a "feature" that id at least hope you wouldnt use DURING active play lol...it's not hurting anything. Just a minor annoyance.

Now, the missing/returned quest, random resets of stats etc..those are bigger deals but not gamebreaking either. Theyre also not issues from day 1, so talking about how its been YEAAARS being ignored for issues that werent even around the first year or so of a 3yrold minor part of a game thats over 8times as old, its just overdramatization even if it is technically correct(yes, 2 is "years", but 2 outta 25yrs-26including beta-EQs been around isnt really much at all.)

Wrong thread for you then, because this one is about Overseer lag and not about other game problems. Overseer is much more important than you might think because it does affect the lag of all game servers.
