Nothing after hitting "play everquest" Win 10 problem?

    Or is this a problem everyone else is having? I reinstalled the Eq setup from the Eq site and made sure my directx was correct.

    Same issue. Win 10. I couldnt create a char yesterday, at at some point i stopped, just to try a hour later. But now the game wont start after i hit play.

    I had the same issue. This worked for me:
    1. Go to your eqclient file
    2. Scroll down until you see WindowedMode=FALSE
    3. Change it to WindowedMode=TRUE
    4. Scroll further down and change the resolution to your desktop resolution. For example mine is...
    Width=2560
    Height=1440
    WindowedWidth=2560
    WindowedHeight=1440

    Be sure to go to File --> Save once making the changes. Hope this helps!

    In order to go back to Full Screen once you start the gane... Click Alt Enter to go back to Fullscreen

    Just for clarification since I just found my alerts and saw this. The way I got it to work was by running it in like windows 7 compatibility mode by right clicking going into properties and looking through the options.
