Every year I try to play again. I miss old style EQ, when it was a game where people helped each other. Now I log in and see people with their followers or whatever they're called and I just can't get motivated. Now that the game market is going P2P, even less so. So how does and old school gamer get excited about the current game? I go into Highpass Hold and nuke goblins just for old times sake, but usually log out bummed. Has the MMO just passed me by?
You could start over on the brand new classic progression server if you want. Expansions/features will unlock over time. It will launch soon, maybe within a month?
