The concept art is so cool for night of shadows! Look at that badass armor. Even the caster looks cool (which is rare since usually only plate looks decent). It makes me so sad we won't actually look this cool though. Or do you think they'll actually add anything remotely as cool in ornamental gear?

Celestial Owl Bear Shader! Seriously though. As we can see, concept arts, still paintings, etc. are always top notch. Where the rubber textures meet the road game, not always so stellar.
Can't wait to murder some crystalline owlbears. I wonder if they explode like an icebreaker commercial.
Yeah, that owl looks awesome! Definitely the first thing that caught my eye too. It'll probably look relatively cool in-game too. But then I saw the armor and was like, damn that's sick. But none of that will be in-game probably =( Take the caster gear for example, we have absolutely nothing that cool hah. I still love the game, I just wish
For the artist my guess would be: Kevin Lydy Get to Know Your Dev: Kevin Lydy | EverQuest Forums (daybreakgames.com) I'm guessing he does concept art and big splashes like this. The most recent hires likely do the work of textures to bring the concept art to life.
Looks like Kerem Beyit, he also did RoF, CotF, TBL, ToV, CoV and ToL key art and logos. I do prefer Larry Elmore.who is as legendary as Keith Parkinson who did the promo key art until PoP and maybe even until GoD.
I did like the Hallucinogenic Warrior-Shroom. If fighting that doesn't give you rainbow-hued auras around living things "Psilocybin-Vision" it's a missed-opportunity..
Congratulations to the maker ! The concept art is magnificent. I really appreciate that the team keeps devoting talent to the artistic side of every expansion, it's one of the things I've never been disappointed in and Night of Shadows is no different.
