Title says it all..... since last patch, music lags and stutters ONLY while playing Everquest, shut down EQ and music plays flawless.... tried different media players and also streaming from various sites, no problem until I launch EQ. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
check your CPU utilization. Currently the Everquest patcher is broken ... and when you hit "PLAY" the game works your CPU much harder than it should. the solution is as follows: 1. Find your eqgame.exe 2. right click it, and select copy. 3. Paste it on your desktop. 4. Right click on your new shortcut - select Properties. 5. In the Target Field add patchme" to the end. IE - "C:\Games\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme"
