That would be fine aswell, I just feel a reason we could be getting left behind in everything is we have no representation. I mean were a parent class who is subpar to everyone. We dont excel really anywhere any longer. Pulling has been taken from us because every class can do it and isnt needed as it once was. Were falling behind in sustained dps and dont really have any burst dps(which I dont believe we should). We dont really have tanking tools but if everyone else is getting our stuff maybe we should be asking for a taunt now days. Maybe monks should just be done with it and become the new evasive tank of EQ. So what are we left with? And I really think it could be because we have no representation really.
Here here INDEED a MONK CRT!!!! I could blather on but what would be the point.... someone was jealous of monks at some point and this is where we ended up! You don't like the statement prove me wrong! Prove that you won't run one of the ORIGINAL Classes into the ground. I see pointless nerfing and even sadder lack of attention to the Monk Class for what is rounding on 5plus Expansions...
One of the red flags about our class is the fact that we have 11 ranks of Strikethrough/Tactical mastery that are over the cap and do nothing for us. This is not a simple oversight, it's 11 ranks worth over several expansions. How this is possible is mind boggling. 6/15 Strikethrough + 3/5 Tactical Mastery = 65% strikethrough total 35% from worn gear mods puts us at 100% 35% from worn gear has been possible for many expansions at the 'group' level, raiding is not required here. This is 69 total AA that could be wasted, quite a lot of hours of someone's time. It's quite disappointing. Clearly, my argument isn't that strikethrough is the biggest issue in our class, it just goes to show the neglect for our class.
One could argue that when alot of those ranks came out, not all monks could hit the cap through gear. It's was really only in HoT group gear that most mod2s got maxed.
Completely false. It has been possible to max strikethrough with worn gear as a grouper and not by raiding for many years. I'm sorry but 11 ranks is still 11 ranks too many. Defending something like this is not going to get you anywhere. It doesn't matter how you spin it, you can't make this out to be positive for our class.
