Mangler: With Velious nearly a month away...

What is really going to happen if no guild does it, is some boxers are going to get together and do it. Mangler already has a very high RMT market going, multiple box armies running. They let ST go for a bit, farm some droppables for themselves then awaken it to keep their prices high. SoDs for upwards for 1000, gnome masks for 500s.

Like yerm said the only real loss out of pre-awaken is SoL for monks. But usually worth it, because those two drops above will find their way to websites to sell for $ or just the whole account.

I would not be overly worried about a boxer waking sleeper at least during Velious if we make sure Vindi stays down to prevent them keying.

Only other key source maybe is klandicar for a boxer.

But I say we keep it sleeping til then end of velious and the very last day all the guilds go for a show before luclin pops.

This will preserve krono prices, and give most a chance to play in the zone and get to see/loot some things that most do not.

Zlandicar is easy to 2 group as a boxer, so youll have instance + open world. Once you get a coth mage at the warders, you can one group some of the warders, so if that one is the last one up, a boxer can do it, or multiple boxers. The key thing is getting a coth bot down there. We saw on coirnav how SOD prices were almost the same as BOC's cause of how long sleeper was up, it was pretty interesting.

Zlandicar Talisman is tradable the RMT box squads aren't using it for ST keys.

yeah for the majority of rmt boxers thats correct, but if youre in a raiding guild where you can get your main plus maybe one alt the talisman/ST key and have the ability to stick your box mage in the coth spot, then you'd have good reason to use the talisman instead of sell it, or buy them from those who farm zlandicar.

if the sleeper wakes up early and you get an SOD thats an easy 55-100kr.

Do you even play the server they are talking about? You can't because you seem to think you can prevent people from getting ST keys.

All the pre awakened ST loot is nice, but not game changing once a few expansions are out. They are for collectors at that point. Honestly, talk it out amongst all the guilds, set a date and do one giant wakening of ST at some point so its a server event like we did on Lockjaw among 5 guilds at the time. It was fun, a tad laggy but was awesome to be a part of.

gnome illusion is the only one with real staying power afaik? there are maybe 1-2 on agnarr if i recall right.
