What is Machin Shin? We are an end-game raiding guild located on the Xegony server. We are currently farming all 7 Arx events on Sunday. We also split/alt raid 4 to 5 additional Arx events on Monday. We currently raid Sunday from 5:45pm to 8:00pm EST and Monday from 6:45pm to 8:00pm EST. We have a 70 member roster. Our focus is gearing new members and secondary characters for raid flexibility when progression begins. Exceptional Players Clause At times we will let a player app when classes are full. We are looking for 3 traits. The first is a good attitude. If you believe drama is a class you take in school and not something that belongs in a guild, you may be exceptional. The second is commitment. If you show up for raids and in the off hours to improve yourself and help others, you may be exceptional. The last thing is skill. Can you perform at an exceptional level for your gear? If a player is all three of these things in our eyes they are exceptional. Any person that applies under this clause will have it clearly labeled in the title of their app thread. They are expected to perform as well or better then our top performer in said class, factoring in their gear sets of course. If they are unable to do so the app will be dropped before reaching the voting stage. Feel free to message the Leadership In-game if you believe that you are exceptional. General Requirements * Good Humor. Raiding is the only thing we take seriously. Our chat is, more often than not, chaotic, abrasive, and vulgar. If you are easily offended, we are most likely not the best guild for you. * Playtime. This is the only non-negotiable requirement. We currently raid Sunday from 5:45pm to 8:30pm EST and Monday from 6:45pm to 8:30pm EST, while in farm mode. At new expansion release, we raid when lockouts are down, until the expansion is complete. You MUST be able to make a bare-minimum of 70% of our raids to apply. As a full member you will be required to maintain this to stay active. * Dedication. You need to actually enjoy playing and improving your character, and want to raid. * Adaptability. You don't need to have tons of raiding experience, so long as you can learn fast and follow directions. We will be watching you during the app period, to see how you react to unfamiliar situations. Not knowing what to do is fine, as long as you ask questions when you don't know. * Skill. You must be skilled and experienced at playing your class. If you don't understand the major functions of your class and cannot perform them within our needs, you are not going to pass the vote. * Ability to Listen. You must be willing and able to pay attention and listen to directions. Specific Requirements * Level. You must be level 105. * AAs. The minimum required AA count for consideration is 10000. However this does vary depending on class. Additionally, certain classes may be required to have specific AAs. Please inquire with the recruitment team about your class. * Gear. While we do not require that you have raid gear to apply, neither will we accept a naked character. Additionally, certain classes may be required to have specific items such as Epics. Please inquire with the recruitment team about your class. * Expansions. You must have the current expansion and be able to immediately purchase any new expansions that are released. * Ability to Drop Aggro. Fade, Feign Death, etc. * Ability to Gate. Spell, AA, Clicky, etc. * Ability to Invis. Spell, AA, Clicky, etc. * Ability to Shrink. Spell, AA, Clicky, etc.
