You trust them to do a merge when they royally screwed up the last batch? That's likely the reason why they don't want to create an Aradune Jr .. merges aren't easy, and they have a track record of not doing them well. It's obvious their hardware is on a budget or at least limited by 20+ year old netcode, but if money is an issue, I doubt they have the resources to employ a DBA who has the skills to ensure those database merge mistakes don't happen again.
