I have played fine for months. I logged in today and had horrible lag. I noticed I am perfectly fine when I wander around until I look at another toon. If I even look at one toon I notice a slowdown. When I go around groups of people I can barely move. I have tried every tweak I can find on google. I reset my router and modem. I checked for new drivers. I re-installed everquest. I tried the CPUAffinity0=-1 stuff. I changed ServerFilter=1. I put every single thing to minimum including clip plane. It is still the same. I probably left some stuff out. I have been at it all day. I have a 4GHz I7 - 32 gigs of ram and a 980TI. So my specs are fine. I have run tons of speedtest and those are exceptional also. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
If it isn't already, you can try checking the "HW Vertex Shaders" box in the advanced display window. After activating it, you'll likely have to log completely out of EQ and back for it to take effect.
