I am sure this has been asked before, but would like to ask again. Was this item proved to be a dead end/part of a quest that never made it to live or is it still unsolved?
Devs said it's for nothing, same thing for the object off... Oblivion? Whatever the raid blob in that zone was.

If memory serves me right it was originally supposed to be tied into an Ashengate Raid quest line and involving a drop from the first event in Vergalid raid as well
