<Kuk Clan> beat it's first hard mode, current content server first today. Figured after working out the kinks on the event, we'd try hard mode. And there it is... Even had some new guildies along for the first time tonight. The newer recruits are reaching level range to help out raids. It's great to have more people along, and seeing new members enjoying things. Many more to come !
I have to agree with oisjafoij. This is for TLP discussion, not posting every reg/hard mode SoD raid mob you finally defeat. Use your website for that.
That screenshot of the Kuk Clan front page is nearly as good as when Kuk rolled a spy toon to join EoE and signed up under his son's character's name on our forums.
The point to the original thread is, that a guild on a TLP server (rumored and accused by others as not progressing, "would never progress", "would never beat content on their own" etc etc, is doing exactly that, progressing. We are showing the rest of the EQ community, that our server, and guild, is growing and progressing. Just as we have stated in the past, and contrary to some people making personal attacks, there is a growing community on Vulak Aerr. We are continuing to grow, and enjoy EQ, at a pace that works for us. And there have been numerous posts on these forums in the past by guilds as they progressed through content. We're just not doing it trying to 'one up' anyone else. We recognize that hard core raiding guilds have done this content on the other progression server, just as other guilds have done every event that any progression server is trying to do, on live servers for years, many many times over. Back to the original post and thread - Yes Kuk Clan is beating new content, in current era, on Vulak Aerr. Just like guilds did on Fippy. We're having a great time doing it, and sharing it with the EQ and TLP community.
Too much hate. For what it is worth, grats. I don't agree with a lot that you have said recently, but if your looking for a congratulations then keep up the good work. Competing anything, although minor to some, is always a good feeling.
It is odd that so many people from Fippy are bent out of shape by any positive posts whatsoever. No, there is no rule that only negative, sniping and whining posts are acceptable on the forums. Sometimes people post positive things. Not everything is a personal attack. But, by all means continue your tirades. It simply differentiates the two servers in stunning clarity. We play nice, we enjoy company, and we enjoy playing the game for relaxation. If that irritates you, then find another server.
people come on these forums to read about Everquest and the joys of everquesting. They do not come here trying to read about some guild of people who box vast quantities of toons by EULA violating software. People who have a program play the game for them vs playing the game as it was intended have no place in EQ. This reason alone should be enough to shutter vulak for good and put the cheaters out of business with their cheat monopoly on the server.
we would rather a server of cheats be rolled into Zek where the population would be most accepting of you.
